At the University of Kentucky, students have started a tradition of setting "State Street on fire" after big athletic wins. First going back to 2012, when UK beat longtime, state rival, the University of Louisville, for the men's basketball NCAA tournament title. In more recent years, it happened for wins over Florida football- in 2022, onward.
